Automatic Spray Painting System for Plates

Steelex manufactures new automatic spray painting systems for steel plates, these
can be combined with a Steelex Shot Blasting Machine or with an existing
machine. Stand alone units are also available.

Each machine comprises of the following;

  • Top Reciprocator
  • Bottom Reciprocator
  • Graco Paint Pump with guns and
    paint tanks
  • Sensor System for work piece
  • Paint fume extraction system,
    either dry or wet filter
  • PLC based Spray Control System
  • Enclosure, ducting and lights
cleaned and it then passes through the
painting machine normally on the same
conveyor. Mounted above and below
the work piece are precision
reciprocators that travel across the
conveyor with the spray guns attached.

The PLC Spray Control system
switches the paint flow on and off so
that the machine only sprays onto the
steel and not into fresh air.

Steelex also offers the following
equipment to enhance to Automatic
Spray Painting Machine,

  • Drying Ovens to speed paint
    curing
  • Edge Slat Conveyors
  • Roller Conveyors

The machine is supplied in kit form for
easy shipping and some local fabrication
is possible.
